About Me
My name is Courtney Armstrong, and I was born and raised in Hauppauge, a little town in Long Island, New York. I left Long Island to study engineering at Binghamton University, before returning to complete a master’s degree program in robotics at Stony Brook University. During that time, I started my own digital manufacturing company (Enza3D) and fell hopelessly in love with the culture born out of what has come to be called the “Maker Movement”.
The people I met at maker events and meet-ups eventually led me to the world of hardware start-ups in NYC. It was here that I found Diggs Pet, a young brand focused on enhancing the lives of pets (and their parents) through innovative and safe products. Anyone who knows me knows I love animals of all shapes and sizes, making Diggs a perfect match. Who could ask for more in a day-job than getting to make things and play with puppies?
