About Enza3D LLC

Enza3D was founded in June of 2016 after the purchase of a 3D printer, with the original intentions of running a small print hub on 3D Hubs. I have since grown Enza3D into a successful Express Manufacturing Partner on 3D Hubs, providing clients across the US with SLA and FDM prints, as well as CAD models when needed. In addition to 3D printing, in-house capabilities have expanded to include vaccum forming, CNC, low volume casting and various finishing methods.

Being able to provide print and CAD services on 3D Hubs has made justifying owning (and buying more) printers and other manufacturing equipment pretty simple, but Enza3D has grown to serve a much more important purpose in my life than just to provide financial means for engineering toys. Before founding this company, the "maker movement" was just a term I heard every now and then, I had never heard of Maker Faires (let alone attended one), and 3D printing was a cool technology for making little plastic things.

Jumping feet first into all of this over the last year and a half has had quite the impact, and I owe almost all of it to what this little company has allowed me to do. I would never have believed that I'd be up until all hours of the night working on CAD models and printing prototypes, co-authoring books and articles, or designing cosplay props, and yet here we are. I have met so many incredible people from all backgrounds working to do good in their communities and for the world who identify as "makers", and to say it's been inspiring is putting it modestly. Innovation has been allowed to become a hobby, and although we have a long, steep road to travel before making is truly accessible to everyone, but this is just the beginning and the future has yet to be written.

Make. Just make. This is the key. The world is a better place as a participatory sport.
